I've never understood why Daleks were supposed to be so scary. They can only shoot directly in front of themselves; they require a graded surface to travel on, ruling out 99.999999999 of all other surfaces in the universe, like beaches, mountains, or tall grass; and they look extremely tip-able (and probably don't have tip-assist installed).
